Introducing the Touring View Tent – Stove-Ready Hot Tenting with Scenic Comfort

We’re excited to introduce the next evolution in our Bell Tent range: the Touring View. Building on the rugged performance of our best-selling Touring Tent, this new version includes a major design improvement – two large panoramic windows, located on either side of the entrance.

These windows add more than just light and air – they transform your connection to the outdoors, bringing a fresh, open feeling to your camping setup without compromising on the things that matter: durability, simplicity, and hot-tenting readiness.

Durable, Scenic & Effortless Camping

The Touring View combines the reliable performance of our Touring Bell Tent with a stunning new perspective. Over the years, we’ve fine-tuned this model – adjusting patterns, upgrading materials, and refining details – all while keeping the setup quick and the tent compatible with our accessory range.

Whether you’re camping solo or with a group, the Touring View delivers ample space, airflow, and visibility – making it ideal for general camping, off-grid escapes, and extended basecamps.

Built for Australia’s Harshest Conditions

Crafted from our proprietary CottonGuard™ canvas, the Touring View is engineered to handle all kinds of weather. With twice the tensile strength of standard cotton canvas, it offers superior resistance to wind, rain, and sun, while remaining breathable to minimise condensation.

CottonGuard™ is also eco-conscious and developed to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing durability – a performance blend that balances strength, longevity, and comfort.

We use extremely strong mosquito netting throughout, so annoying rips and tears are very rare.

Built to Last – Not for Landfill. Every Touring View tent is constructed using ultra rugged materials, this is gear that’s made to endure.

Breathe Easy, Bug-Free

The Touring View features two large mesh-lined panoramic windows, in addition to five other windows, doors, and vents – all fitted with mosquito-proof mesh.

Let the breeze in, not the bugs. Our 360° double-wall design allows you to roll up the outer canvas and enjoy uninterrupted airflow through a full mesh interior wall — perfect for warm nights, scenic views, and total comfort.

A zip-in/zip-out bathtub floor helps with cleaning and ventilation and provides serious protection from water ingress.

Ready for ‘Hot Tenting’

As pioneers of Hot Tenting in Australia, all Touring View tents come stove-ready. A built-in Stove Jack – made from fireproof canvas – allows for safe stovepipe installation. The jack includes a weatherproof Velcro cover when not in use.

For hot-tenting setups, we recommend our Winnerwell Medium Stove for the 4m model, and the Large Stove for the 4.5m. Full compatibility with accessories such as heat shields, flue kits, and spark arrestors ensures a safe and enjoyable winter camping experience.

For stove use, see our full Hot Tenting Guide and safety FAQ.

Why Canvas Still Wins

Tent performance is about more than size or price – material matters. Cotton canvas provides unmatched breathability, comfort, and long-term reliability. While synthetics are lighter, they often trap moisture and degrade faster in Australia’s harsh sun.
