One of the most common questions we’re asked is ‘how big are your bell tents?’ and ‘how many people do they sleep?’ And we understand! When you’re sitting on the computer thinking about buying a tent, 4 metre and 5 metre diameters don’t mean much – ‘is that roughly from my couch to the kitchen bench?’, you ask yourself as you take metre-long strides across the room.
To save you getting tangled in measuring tape on the living room floor, we enlisted Melbourne illustrator Beth-Emily to get our tent spatial awareness in check. Read on for our go-to guide to sleeping well in our bell tents.
5 metre Simpson Bell Tent
The Bell of the ball – our 5 metre Simpson Tent is named after the world’s largest sand dune desert, the Simpson Desert of Central Australia. And true to it’s name, the Simpson is the big brother of our bell tents, sleeping up to six people comfortably. We like to think of it as our canvas Taj Mahal.

4 metre Flinders Bell Tent
Slightly smaller than the Simpson, our Flinders Bell Tent still packs a punch in the space game. Sleeping four adults comfortably, the Flinders is perfect for families or couples that still love room to move. Share the space with friends at festivals, or keep it all to yourselves!
