Description
Not too big, not too small, the Forest Axe from Hultafors is an excellent tool for most jobs around camp and beyond – perfect for lobbing of limbs, processing firewood or chopping rounds, the Aby has a straight edge and traditional ‘Scandi’ grind and is suitable for many types of use. Favoured by bushcraft folk this is a good axe for shelter building as well as precision work. The handle is a good length to give great striking leverage with the 700-gram head and there is a good-sized finger notch below the head for increased precision.
The axe is hand-forged from Swedish quality steel at the Hults Bruk forge using traditional methods in use since 1697. The axe has a classic American hickory wood handle and comes with a thick leather sheath to protect the blade from damage.
