Great product, could be better

Overall, amazing!! Very good high quality stainless of the same type as the stove itself. Due to being wrapped around the flue, the full 3 litre tank of water usually boils within 7 minutes of starting the fire in the morning! The water will still be about 60c about an hour after the fire has gone out, depending on the weather of course. The tap works well, the tank looks the part (mostly) with the stove, pipe oven and double wall flue pipe A few small things that could be better in my opinion are:- it's own design for the nomad stove. The clips and handle for the woodlander stove can be annoying especially when hot, and the clips stop the lid from opening completely flat- with the location it needs to go on the nomad, filling it would be much easier! The handle holes also are at a difficult height, so you don't get the full tank everytime without losing some boiling out of these holes. A similar issue to these is the lid, which hits the damper control every time you open it. In order to fill it when a fire is going, you need to cop a bit of smoke, depending on what stage the fire is at.
The slots on the base to maintain the one position on the stove top against the hinges could also be better, as it makes it be in one spot only on the stove. Basically you lose about 3cms of stove top and the flue heat due to the tank, but if it was possible to be moved to the back of the stove still against the flue, then it would be a better product overall! Price from Homecamp was better than Amazon or most other retailers by at least the shipping cost, and the service was outstanding!

Hi Stewart, thanks for the thorough review - great to have some insight into the where the product can be improved and we will pass it back to Winnerwell. Good to hear you had timely service from us too. Thanks again, Doron
