As requested by our customers, this is a new version of our Cabin Tent, made with our tried and tested 285 GSM canvas. Please take the time to understand the key difference between fabric types (see notes at the bottom of this product description).
This is a fantastic tent that covers a lot of bases for couples, families, or groups for general camping purposes. With the right care and accessories, this tent would also be an excellent choice for accommodation on a property.
Not only is the Cabin Tent aesthetically pleasing to the eye, its extremely easy to set up and can be erected in minutes by a single person. Not too big and not too small, we have hit a sweet spot for car camping tents. Large enough to comfortably fit two double beds or up to 6 people on single mattresses, this is a roomy tent that reaches 2m in height at its apex, so there is plenty of space for you and your fellow campers to move around in (this is a great tent for festival-goers…).
The cabin tent features two huge doors opposite each other, and both doors come with separate secondary mosquito netting doors so you can let the air flow without the bugs. There are two extra-large windows with mosquito netting protection on each side. The tent comes with super-strong 25mm hard-anodized aluminium poles that attach to a ridge pole, keeping the Cabin ultra-sturdy even in high wind conditions.
The tent has a heavy-duty ripstop PVC 100% waterproof, sewn-in groundsheet with a 10cm bathtub style wall – this is extra protection in case of extremely inclement weather or minor flooding of your campsite.
We’ve added two large pockets sewn into each wall and a detachable pocket that attaches to the ridge pole for convenient storage. Plus, there’s a ‘Spare’s’ bag which includes extra pegs and guy ropes, a rain cap and floor and canvas patches for any unforeseen (and unlikely) repair needs. Our tent comes with high-quality paracord guy ropes and aluminium guy adjusters for reliable setup. Additionally, we’ve included two compression straps so you can roll up your tent nice and tight before packing away.
When it’s time to pack up, the entire tent fits snugly into a purpose-built canvas carry bag. Complete with webbing shoulder straps and grab handles, it’s easy to transport. The whole package weighs around 22kg and is no larger than a golf bag, making it a breeze to fit into almost any vehicle.
Hot Tent Ready
Like all of our canvas tents, the Premium Cabin Tent comes Hot Tent ready with a section of the tent made from fireproof material with an inbuilt Stove Jack – a port designed to accommodate a stovepipe safely. It allows for the passage of a stovepipe through the tent fabric without risking damage from heat or fire and has a Velcro flap to cover when not in use. For Hot-Tenting we recommend a small or medium size from our Winnerwell range of stoves – be sure to include the necessary accessories for your stove, if you unsure simply contact us for the best advice.

A note on materials:
When choosing a tent, there are various factors to weigh. While size and weight are important, the choice of materials is equally essential. Understanding the differences between cotton-based canvas and synthetic materials is key. The trade-offs encompass weight, strength, maintenance (i.e. propensity for mould, sun damage etc), and breathability (condensation).
