Looking back on the last 12 months, we have huge gratitude for our customers who have been so patient as the curve balls of lockdowns, disrupted logistics and strained supply chains kept coming. It’s been a wild ride and we acknowledge that some shipping times have been inaccurate – something we will strive to improve next year.
On a positive note, 2021 saw the release of two Homecamp books, Tent Life and Rewild, as well as our new canvas bag range. We were especially excited about the release of our Fenby Chair. We started working on this chair several years ago and it’s fulfilling to see it finally come to life with such a positive response, selling out quickly. To those that missed out, don’t worry they will be coming back into stock early next year.
2021 was all about the Fenby Chair. We finished the year with a remarkable collaboration with Wild Turkey and its Creative Director Matthew McConaughey, with whom we designed a tent, with a proportion of proceeds donated to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. We are still pinching ourselves about this collaboration and we are incredibly happy with the result.
This tent looks so good in the wild and is super versatile. The unique flourishes that Matthew added creates a unique and limited edition tent – definitely one of our favourite products so far.
Wild Turkey x Homecamp Trust Your Spirit Tent. Looking ahead to 2022, we have a whole new range of gear for release, including clever storage for your 4×4, new swags and bedrolls, a new tent range (including a redesigned kids tent), our take on another classic chair, as well as a couple of other exciting projects.
