Description
This is a very special knife made by the Sami people in small village of Sattajärvi, 20 kilometres south of Pajala in Sweden Lapland, far north. Their mission is to “To offer unique handcraft products in natural materials with high quality”.
These knives are a beautiful traditional design, made by hand using excellent Swedish materials: a full-tang blade of high-carbon-steel tempered to approximately HRC 59 with flat Scandinavian grind. The knife with handle is made from arctic-curly-birch, reindeer-antler, thin layers of leather and coloured birch.
This makes for a unique gift and a honoured place in anyones collection.
