Winnerwell Mini Smoker

Charcoal starter - works well but I’d like to see a smaller grate as quite a few smaller bits of charcoal (especially reused charcoal) just fall through. Easily fixed though.
Fire pit - works surprisingly well for a small package. Certainly can throw off a bit of heat, and handles smallish logs and cut wood ok. Needs a bit more tending to compared to bigger ones but it’s overall versatility, weight and pack down is fair compensation.
Smoker - works, but a bit fiddly. Did a couple of salmon steaks ok but found it operates pretty hot, not easy to shut down the oxygen for a cooler burn. I’ll put it down to operator inexperience but I feel best results will come from pretty constant monitoring, and possibly smoking pellets or shavings rather than chips.
Grill - good results with burning wood with constant attention to flare ups, no worse that any other small wood/charcoal grill. I found charcoal grilling gave better results as expected. Works ok with minimum charcoal, but only minimal oxygen control. Nice compact efficient package for a small roast with an Auspit too.
Overall, a nice one or two person combo for car camping, although I’d be inclined to pair it with a second burner and I found it paired with a Kelly Kettle to be about just right.
