Description

Beautiful shelter made easy

The iconic Homecamp Bell Tent creates a camping an experience you’ll not soon forget. This tent can be set up in less than 20 minutes by a single person and comfortably sleep 4 to 8 adults depending on the size you choose. Our tents are all weather-sealed, and mould, UV and water-resistant to keep the elements out and the good times in.

A robust four seasons tent made from the same tough canvas as the Classic Bell Tent range, but in a slightly lighter weight  (a great compromise in weight vs strength). This is the perfect tent for both general camping or as extra pop-up accommodation on a property.

Feel the breeze, not the bugs

All Homecamp Bell Tents have a ‘double-wall’ feature that means you can roll up the canvas outer wall and expose a secondary wall made of ultra-durable mosquito mesh. In doing so, take advantage of the refreshing airflow and natural light while keeping the bugs at bay. The outer canvas door also features a secondary mesh door which means you have excellent control over the internal temperature. The groundsheet can be unzipped for easy cleaning and additional airflow.

Clever details

Unlike other manufacturers who use generic canvas and parts, here at Homecamp we use our own tried and tested canvas that is custom made to our specifications, and offers what we strongly believe to be the best choice for Australian conditions. We use quality hardware that won’t fail. We insist on custom made brass zips on all windows and doors, and our tents feature thoughtful details like heavy-duty mosquito netting (holes in netting is a painful reality for other bell tents). Other details include a properly designed oversized carry bag for a struggle-free pack down, enduring peg and pole bags, reflective paracord guy ropes and fit-for-purpose twisted stainless steel pegs.

All of this gives you the confidence to trust our gear in the wild. Are tents are backed by a fail-safe 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Size matters

  • Our 4m Bell Tent will comfortably accommodate 4 adults and is great for a couple or a small family.
  • Our 4.5m Bell Tent will comfortably accommodate 6 adults and is an excellent choice for those who want some extra room or have a larger family.
  • Our 5m Bell Tent will comfortably accommodate 8 adults. It’s the perfect size for a larger family or group, and the size favoured by accommodation businesses as there is plenty of room for a king or queen-size bed (or two!) along with additional furniture.

Customise your comfort

Our Homecamp Inner Tent helps keep your tent tidy by creating a separate sleeping area – perfect for families and festivals.

Our Homecamp Awning attaches to the front of our bell tents and provides additional shade and weather protection over the doorway.

Sandridge Estate Glamping Village

Our eight tent glamping village is erected permanently for 7 months of the year and we require tents that can withstand Tasmania's harsh sun, unpredictable rain and strong winds. After failing with other brands (mold being a major problem), we discovered Homecamp bell tents and we were instantly impressed with the quality of their material, craftsmanship and durability. We are 5 years in using Homecamp and would not look anywhere else. Plus Doron is always a delight to deal with.

Exceptional quality and service - highly recommend the Homecamp Bell Tent!

After starting with another supplier for the bell tent at our AirBnB property, which resulted in broken zips and poor quality, we have been impressed with the Homecamp bell tent. As soon as we opened it out of its packaging, we knew it was a superior product.

We have only received glowing reviews from our guests who love the experience of sleeping under canvas.

We also purchased the awning and cover which have been great.

Into the wild with a bell tent

The pandemic has brought about a newfound awareness in our lives and served as the perfect catalyst for an experiment we had longed to carry out but were hesitant to attempt: what would it be like to live full-time in a camping-style? For years, we had yearned to possess a piece of land blessed with a majestic forest, nestled along the shores of the ocean.

The long quarantine periods were taking a toll on us as we were confined to a 5 km radius around our home, with no possibility of visiting the ocean that we loved so much. Our mental health, as well as that of our children, began to suffer. So, I set out in search of a solution.
After months of wandering through vast expanses of real estate, I stumbled upon a site that seemed to be calling out to me - a forest by the ocean. It was completely bare, with no house, water, or electricity - just perfect."

After six months of preparation, our family sold almost everything we had, loaded up our 7-seater car, and set off for our new adventure, with nothing but tents for shelter and camping equipment. At first, our home consisted of three tents - two for bedrooms and one for the kitchen. We were quite comfortable during the summer months.

However, disaster struck after three months. During a storm, a possum landed on the roof of our kitchen tent, shredding it to pieces and leaving us drenched in a shower of rainwater and debris. This prompted me to search for more reliable and sturdy tents, which led me to discover Homecamp. We decided to try their 4.5 Bell Tent with Stove Bundle.

To put it simply, it was the best purchase I have made in my 20 years of camping experience. The tent was spacious, easy to set up, and incredibly sturdy. It has endured one scorching summer and one pouring winter, with strong winds and rain (lots of it!). The stove not only warmed our bodies but also our souls. During dark and rainy winter evenings, we watched the fire, sipped on tea heated on the stove, read, played games, hugged, talked, and laughed. Winter turned out to be rainier than usual, and we had to fight mold - perhaps the only downside.

We will see how the tent performs in the coming year, but so far, it has exceeded our expectations. We have fallen in love with this lifestyle - living in nature is an unforgettable experience that has made us healthier and happier.

Hi Julia, thank you for taking the time to review the bell tent and give us some background to your set up - very impressive!! I am not sure why you don't have a verified banner so will look into it. Cheers, HC

Quality Bell Tent

After a lot of research and trying tents from other companies, this is the best quality bell tent we have seen by far.
The canvas is super tough and well stitched
Ropes are easy to secure and high visibility
Door opening height is perfect
Zippers are tough and easy to use tabs on them
Mesh is strong and windows work perfectly
This tent is worth the money
Free delivery and I have to add I needed the tent by certain date and they went to great lengths to make sure it was delivered on time. Thank you so much it was much appreciated.

Ubuntu Living

The tent is great definitely a premium tent compared to others. We have 4 and are on track to open Ubuntu Glamping prior to Christmas hidden in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Rainforest.

The tents are able to quickly be changed with the side wall coming off to maximise comfort in changing weather.

I also can’t wait for winter to turn them into hot tents and give the stoves a go, warming the frosty mornings we can get in the ranges.

Check out Ubuntu Living FB/In or in a week or too Ubuntu Glamping on Hipcamp.

Hi Michael, thank you for your review - really good to get some feedback and best of luck with Ubuntu! Doron
