Description
Hailing from here in Australia, the Tasmania pattern axe boasts a uniquely wide-forged blade, developed for use on the iron hardwoods often found in Australia.
This pattern head is often used for timber sport competitions and is great as a training axe. It will serve equally as a felling or splitting tool.
Handmade in Wuppertal, Germany with German C50 high-grade carbon steel which has been open face drop-forged, heat-treated, and oil-hardened. Polished to a highly reflective finish with 53-56 HRC (Rockwell Hardness). Comes with a standard top-grade American cowhide 6oz leather adjustable sheath.
