Silky have been in the business of making blades and saws for over 100 years and still manufacture in the Ono region of Japan using extremely high-quality Japanese steel. Silky have perfected their craft, utilising proprietary laser-cutting technology and impulse hardening their blades for exceptional performance and a long service life.
The name Natanoko is a combination of the Japanese words for axe (nata) and handsaw (noko). The Silky Natanoko 2000 is a pull saw with a distinct curved blade and extra large teeth that will saw through thick tree trunks with ease. The Natanoko has a strong and extremely grip-able rubber handle that will absorb vibrations. The blade can be easily released and replaced by turning the rotary knob on the handle. The Natanoko has a scabbard that has been designed to keep the saw safely locked in position and you can easily release the tool with one hand. Comes with a very handy, detachable belt attachment.
This is a very handy tool for preparing firewood, bushcraft projects, abory or general garden duties on a property. Great tool to bring on an off-road expedition.
The blade should be kept clean after use – olive oil is an effective and environmental friendly way to maintain the blade.
Keep the saw dry and in its scabbard when not in use.
