It’s no secret Swedes design and manufacture fantastic products and Primus is one of their leading outdoor makers. Primus have been engineering stoves and other equipment for over 125 years and are well known amongst the mountaineering and the outdoor community for supplying fail-safe gear that won’t let you down in extreme conditions – their stoves were used by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillaryon their famous ascent of Mount Everest in 1953.
The Kinja Stove is an excellent piece of kit – lightweight, compact and portable thanks to it’s die-cast aluminium frame and stainless steel body which is coated in a tasteful black powder coat and includes oak and brass detailing on the handle and elsewhere.
The Kinja Stove uses the smaller and lighter canisters normally used for backpacking stoves, making it easy to transport. Cleaning is a simple affair with the grids and drip tray able to be easily removed and cleaned.
