Have you read all about what we think makes the world’s best bell tent?

What makes would make the ultimate bell tent?

We decided on a bell tent that was just the right size, and incredibly hard-wearing but without the impractical weight and bulk of most large tents. It would have waterproof canvas but be breathable and without the noisy rustle of plastic tents. We would add fit-for-purpose inclusions such as a well designed storage bags, custom made hardware and top-notch detailing.

Welcome to The Homecamp Touring Bell Tent…

Firstly, the most important part – the canvas. The Touring Bell Tent features an exclusively designed Parchment (creamy white) 350 GSM “Ultra-Eco” Canvas which is an incredibly strong ripstop canvas made with recycled PET, layered with a smooth 100% cotton lining. The exterior layer is waterproof, UV and abrasion resistant, easy to clean and the cotton layer cools the tent, preventing condensation and breaking up the light to create an awesome vibe inside.

Add to this a whole set of considered features and inclusions such as zip off floor, hard anodised aluminium pole sets, reflective paracord guy ropes,  brass YKK zips, aluminium guy adjusters, well designed duffle bags, large storage pockets, a Homecamp Carabiner and stainless steel peg set.

We have recently received our bell tent and taken it camping at Ningaloo station in Western Australia. The tent performed with flying colours withstanding 30 knot winds and rain on one squally night. Very cosy inside with the low-noise flap of canvas rather than plastic.

I have camped in this bell tent at festivals, with my friends and partner, with kids, on a beach, in campsites, up a mountain and next to a river and it’s never let me down. Ease of set-up, tons of space and a superb weatherproof environment which is nice to wake up in – a winning combination.

This is a fantastic tent, really well-made easy to set up heaps of room great in all types of weather. The best of the best.

Quality products are increasingly hard to find, and buying something that costs a bit more doesn’t necessarily mean it will be any better than the cheaper alternative. But rest assured, for those like me who deliberated long and hard about spending a fair chunk of cash on a tent, it is a decision that you won’t regret. The Homecamp Touring Tent just feels great; it is a breeze to put up and pack down, an absolute pleasure to be in, and just a joy to look at. I’ve never gotten a smile before from just looking at my tent. It is cleverly designed, carefully manufactured, and destined to provide years of family camping adventures.

The tent is great! I camped in far east Gippsland in a severe weather event where we had winds of up to 100Kmph – it was so surreal! Suffice to say the tent held up perfectly! All-in-all it’s been tremendous, and extremely liberating being afforded so much space when camping! I’ve also been surprised that the tent has somehow fit even it extremely tight spaces.

I love my Homecamp products. Always so full of natural style and functionality. The brand stands for the highest quality, and I can trust that the items will be of use out in the natural world away from help.
