Description
Chopping is often faster than sawing or cutting. The NATA is a cross between a knife and an axe. It is forged in SKS-51 (JIS) steel and the special Genki rubber grip absorbs the shock very well: the vibrations are hardly transmitted to the hand or arm. The NATA has been conceived in two versions: -single ground (sharpened on one side only), for chopping off small branches, debarking trees, and layering hedges -double ground (sharpened on both sides), for splitting wood.
The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. Resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade with.
